Vaike O’Grady is the Austin Regional Director for Metrostudy, the nation’s leading provider new home market information, housing analysis, and consulting.  She is a real estate veteran, with prior experience in both homebuilding and development in multiple states and in a variety of market conditions.

She started her career at the Home Builders Association of Maryland, then moved on to hold various roles in marketing and sales in Maryland and in Florida with The Ryland Group.  After working with a local Florida homebuilder, Vaike joined Newland Communities, leading marketing strategies and execution for master-planned communities throughout the Southeast.  Vaike moved with Newland to Austin in 2010, where she led marketing efforts for the award-winning communities of Teravista, Falcon Pointe, and Rancho Sienna.  Vaike is active in leadership roles with the Urban Land Institute and the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin. Vaike is a licensed Texas Realtor, and she received her Bachelor of Arts Summa Cum Laude from Loyola University in Maryland.  In her spare time, she volunteers with Peace Lutheran Church and with Austin Pug Rescue.
